Chinese Lantern Festival

Boca Raton – February 24 - April 9

If you haven't had a chance already to swing by the Sunset Cove Amphitheater yet, this weekend, Sunday April 9th marks the end of the Chinese Lantern Festival. The event features over 800 handcrafted lanterns constructed in the traditional Chinese style. The theme is the "The Wild" and attendants will spy everything from pandas, to peacocks, to cheetahs. With live Kung Fu performances and folk art demonstrations, there are no shortage of sights to see.

South Florida Surfers For Autism Beach Festival

Deerfield Beach – April 21-23

Organized by Broward County Sheriff's Office and the Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue, this event is a fun afternoon in the waves where children with Autism or related developmental delays have an opportunity to learn to surf, paddle board, or kayak with guidance from professional surf instructors and dedicated volunteers. With a mixture of live music, games, and more, this is an enjoyable fundraiser for participants and volunteers alike.

Boynton Beach Food, Wine & Brew Festival

Boynton Beach – May 11

If you're up for a fifteen minute drive up the coast, the Boynton Beach Food, Wine & Brew Festival is well worth the journey. Located at the Benvenuto Restaurant & Banquet Facility, the event is organized by the Chamber of Commerce. The emphasis is on local restaurants and eateries, and the event features 30 of Boynton's finest. In the past, attendees have included Agliolio, Potions In Motion™, Don Che Bistro, and Prime Catch.
